Privacy Policy
This policy explains what YOUR COMPANY LLC ("we") collects through BridalIQ, why, and what you can do about it. Questions go to support@yourdomain.com.
What we collect
- Account details: the store's name and time zone, and the name, email and role of each person on the account.
- Data from BridalLive, read with your API key: appointments, customer contacts (names, phone numbers, email addresses, event dates, whether a card is on file — never the card itself), sales tickets and items, payments, purchase orders, receiving vouchers, vendors and departments.
- Data from QuickBooks Online, read with the access you grant through Intuit: bills, bill payments, vendor credits, vendor names and bank account balances.
- What your team does in BridalIQ: checklist ticks, cleared warnings, case outcomes, notes and settings, with who did each and when.
- Billing: handled entirely by Stripe. We receive the subscription status and dates; card details stay with Stripe.
- Technical data: sign-in session cookies (needed to keep you signed in), and limited logs of requests for security and troubleshooting. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
Only to provide the Service to your store: to show your reports and checklists, find inconsistencies, send sign-in codes and account emails, bill the subscription, keep the Service secure and fix problems. We do not sell personal information, do not share it for advertising, and do not use your data to build products for anyone else.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers, each only for the purpose listed: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Stripe (payments), Resend (sending email), and Intuit and BridalLive (the sources you connect). We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the Service or its users from fraud or abuse. If our business is sold or merged, this policy continues to apply to your data.
Security
Your BridalLive API key and QuickBooks access are encrypted at rest. Data travels over encrypted connections. Each store's records are kept separate and every request is checked against the signed-in person's store and role. Sign-in codes and session tokens are stored only in hashed form. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will tell you without undue delay.
How long we keep it
While your account is open. After it closes we keep the data for 60 days so you can come back, then delete it, except records the law requires us to keep (such as billing records). Disconnecting QuickBooks or BridalLive stops new data from arriving; data already read stays until the account closes or you ask us to delete it.
Your choices
The account owner can disconnect a source, remove team members or close the account at any time. Anyone can ask us to see, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about them by writing to support@yourdomain.com. If a bride or other customer of your store contacts us, we will refer the request to your store, since your store decides how its customer records are used.
Children
BridalIQ is a business tool and is not directed to children.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email account owners before the change takes effect and update the date above.
